Materials
3 colors of worsted weight cotton yarn (I used Lily Sugar'n Cream in White, Yellow, Hot Green, and Mod Blue in various combinations for all the motifs.)
Size H (5mm) hook
(Of course you could try any other weight yarn and an appropriate hook!)

Size
7.25 inch diameter

Directions (Written in US Crochet Terms)
With Color A
Rnd 1- In magic circle, ch 5, (tr, ch 1) 11 times, sl st to 4th chain of ch 5, 
       fasten off.
Rnd 2- Join Color B in any tr, ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in next ch space, 
       *sc in next tr, 2 sc in next ch space, repeat from * around, sl st to first 
       sc, fasten off.
Rnd 3- Join Color C in same st as sl st join in last rnd, ch 5, dc in same 
       stitch, skip 2 stitches, *(dc, ch 2, dc) in next stitch, skip 2 stitches, 
       repeat from * around, sl st to 3rd chain of ch 5, fasten off.
Rnd 4- Join Color A in any ch 2 space, ch 3, 2 dc in same same, ch 2, 
       (3 dc, ch 2) in next ch 2 space and in each ch 2 space around, sl st to 
       top of ch 3, fasten off.
Rnd 5- Join Color B in any stitch, sc in each dc and 2 sc in each ch 2 space 
       around, sl st to first sc, DON'T fasten off.
Rnd 6- Ch 1, sc in same space, skip 2 stitches ([dc, ch 1] 5 times, dc) in next 
       stitch, skip 2 stitches, *sc in next stitch, skip 2 stitches, 
       ([dc, ch1] 5 times, dc) in next stitch, skip 2 stitches, repeat from 
       * around, sl st to first sc, fasten off, sew in ends.

Block if desired. (I lightly pinned out my motifs, sprayed them with water and let them dry over night.)
